Stephan Antoh

Stephan was called to the Ghana Bar in October 2006 and began his career at Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa and Ankomah as a pupil. After a brief period there, he moved to First Atlantic Merchant Bank as a legal officer. In 2010, he took on the role of executive manager for legal, HR, and corporate affairs at Capital Bank. Three years later, in 2013, he left Capital Bank to join Weston Group, where he provided legal support for various investment projects in the sub-region, including Liberia and Nigeria.

Stephan joined Ashong Benjamin & Associates as a partner, where he became involved in numerous local and cross-border transactions. During his time at Ashong Benjamin, he advised both local and multinational firms in the extractive industry, banking, and corporate finance, guiding acquisitions across various sectors.

In litigation and dispute resolution, he represented both local and multinational companies in court and arbitration proceedings. His unique understanding of the matters he handled was complemented by a strong sense of duty and a commitment to client satisfaction.

Stephan established Afriyie Dwamena & Associates in 2017 to offer legal support to multinational firms, local companies, and individuals across various fields of law. His areas of expertise include civil litigation and arbitration, corporate and commercial law, labor law, property law, and intellectual property law.

Stephan has an LLB degree from the University of Ghana, Legon and a Qualified Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law, Makola. He also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Theatre Arts also from the University of Ghana.

Stephan has over the years worked on several transactions, deepening his experience in his field of interest. He has considerable experience in providing support to multinational firms in agriculture and banking, and finance.
